I am hoping someone can help me with my question. I am in the market for an exhaust i think i am going to go with a 2.25" with a two chaimber flomaster. is this exhaust going to to be too loud in the cabin or will it sound nice??? this is a catback system. My local muffler shop is going to charge me 175$ for it. Is this a good deal? also should I have the exhaust pipe exit the car in a different place than stock? by the way I have a 1993 eddie bauer. thanks John

I am still hoping someone can answer my question! any info would be greatly appriciated! is this a good setup for my 93 EB? is 175+tax too much?

John -

Welcome to the best site on the Web.

Don't know what series you're getting, but I think series 50 is the most popular. Does the price include a complete new system, muffler, new pipes, and tail pipe to replace the stock system or does it only include replacing the muffler and adding a tail pipe. A friend of mine just replaced his stock muffler with a new flowmaster and it sounds very crisp. $175 for an entire new system is very good in the Bay Area!!!

Also check out other cat-back bolt-on systems from Borla and Gibson. Very simple installation, usually 30 minutes to an hour to install at home.

For more information, do a search for exhaust system and you'll find more informaion than you have time to read.

I have a 92 Navajo 4wd 2door and here's were I got my system; http://www.re-racing.com/index.html.
It cost $158.00, and it was $183.06 to have it delivered to my door. It's a full cat-back system with a 50 series Delta flow force II muffler w/2.5" pipes. Part number is 17246. It's on back order but I'll let you know how it is to install. One item the tech told me was to start applying liquid wrench or equivalent "now" to the flang bolts behind the Cat so they don't break off when I take them off.
