OK guys, there were so many exhaust posts, that when i did a search, I coulden't make heads or tales. Some said the stock system should handle all the air put out by ohv engines, while others suggested borla or flowmasters.

Right now, i have a K&N filter and a cut airbox. I'll be upgrading to the BBK supercharger this summer, hopefully. I want an exhaust system that produces the most power for both applications. sound is nice, but i'm just looking for power here. would the Flowmaster 50 SUV series produce any substantial increase in power over the factory system?

I've got borla header and flowmaster 50 series muffler and my truck sounds good, and you can defentially feel the difference over stock,I got the dual set up from summit

What you would probably want to do is just get a muffler shop to design/build you a custom 2.5" cat-back exhaust and go with either the flowmaster or dynomax mufflers. That's what I plan on doing (with a flowmaster 50 series delta flow muffler), and I'm not even supercharging or anything. Should run about $200 depending on the construction materials/laber and such, as far as I know. I haven't asked for price quotes from any shops yet.

I agree with the suggestion to get a custom Flowmaster, Magnaflow, or Dynamax 2.5" setup. If you do go ahead with the s/c, I'd also get headers. The JBA ceramic coated headers are the best. With the headers, you'll notice a torque loss at low rpm and a hp gain at high rpm before the blower. With the blower, they help at all rpms. Good luck!
