Well the Ex has been driving fine, but today going to work turning into the parking lot i heard a popping/buzzing noise coming from the pass side front wheel area. I thought nothing of it, it wasnt too loud.

Well i just took it out for lunch and it is pulling really bad to the left. Going slow i can hear a clicking noise.

Can anyone diagnose this problem for me? I mean it has been driving fine and now it is pulling really bad to the left...i dont get it. Hub bad?

its a 91 Sport, 5speed with just over 163k on the OD.

Thanks for any tips/advice in advance...

Nate

Sounds like a auto hub:p

If it is a hub, is it still safe to drive on? I mean i havnt put it in 4wd in a LONG time. Its damn annoying though because it pulls to the left really bad.

If it is indeed a auto hub that went bad, is this a fix that i could do myself you think? I have heard that hubs are easy to fix...but i could be wrong.

Also...how $$$ is this gonna be? What if i took it to a dealer? Would i get bent over and charged out the wazoo?

thanks again, and if any other thoughts on the problem differs from a "hub" please lemme know...hell lemme know even if you agree.

I dont know about the pulling so much, but hubs are easy to change,do not take to dealer you will get raped, now would be a good time to convert over to manual hubs alot cheaper than auto and alot more durable.
