i know every ones seat lever breaks on the 98 x , mine just broke today . i never had a problem with the lever until i had the seat recall done . the jackass busted the tabs off the seat trim when he did the recall , then tried to hide it . so i showed them this b4 i left the lot and they took care of it. ( ordered me a new trim piece)
but then i noticed how the guy just rolled out of the seat , and wamo , there went the lever , so i pointed this out to their attention , the guy just said , oh you just have to be careful and wrenched it back into place , while he did it a few times to show me how flexable it is . meanwhile , knowing what happens to metal when you flex it enough , it will break . well now it broke.
im just pizzed , cause i know they wont fix it and it prolly wont be covered under my warrienty .
i kinda need it to get the kid in and out of the car seat , so how hard is this to replace and how much
