Hey thought I would chime in! I bought the same head from ebay. Wont get around to put it on till October but since it will get better flow facing forward im going to add a trap (similar to a sink) in the side panel with a check valve on the bottom. This way all the water it scoops up will drain out the bottom and no water will get in should it get submerged (thanks to a one way valve...
Let me know what you guys think about this idea, still just working through it. When i get around to it ill post picks and such.

First, i dont really have any water build up not even in the snow time..

second with explorers (not 100% sure) but with the MAF system it doesnt matter how much air flow you have going into it the MAF will still only allow amount "a" to go through instead of what your trying to push as amount "b" without reprogramming.
