Im shopping for new tires and have narrowed it down to goodyear duratracs and BFG mud terrain km2's. I know clearly that on the street the duratracs are going to be better for me, but im not sure how well the will perform off-road. Im looking for some input on the Duratrac's offroad performance vs the bfg

i have 33" duratracs and they are the best reads ive ever bought. pretty qiuet on the road, and awesome in the rain and snow. off road they are damn good as well. just my opinion but in their price range, these are the most complete tires ive ever bought for one of my trucks. ive run other tires like wild country and the pro comp mud tires, which were great in the mud and dirt, but loud on the road. the duratracs are very road friendly, quiet, and are just as capable in the dirt and snow as any other tire ive ever slapped on a rig. not to mention they look great, without being too flashy.

Thank you for the opinion LONO, after that and some reading online im almost sold, the only complaint ive found so far is the 2-ply sidewall being easy to puncture, and after my trip to smorr and getting rock rash on borrowed wheels that makes me a bit nervous

Scratch km2's and go with mt/rs /kevlar. Very quiet on the road and conquer all!

If im gonna pay the price for kevlars, ill go with the BFG's first, just for the longer tread life, plus from most of the reviews ive found the BFG's are far better off road, while the kevlars are only a little better on road. I ended up ordering the duratracs because of the price point and them being rated as a winter tire, not just M&S. From the reviews i have found all over the internet these should do great on a rig that is daily driven and trailed extremely hard a few times a year
