ok...heres the scoop....i just was jet skiing on lake michigan this weekend, and when i was getting the jet skis out, i noticed that my rear anti-lock brake light was on. what does this mean? goo?

another thing that i noticed is, now my turn signals don't work.

now i figured a few things could have happened. about the rear anti lock brakes...when i put in boats, i usually get just a little steam, and then hit the breaks, so the boat just slides off real easy like. could this have done somthing to my anti locks?

the other thing that i thougt for the turn signals, is maybe the water caused a short? perhaps? maybe? please?!?!! somthing cheap i hope?!?!

any help would be great!!! thanx!

Your RABS sensor may be bad. Did you check your fuses?? If your lights aren't working I'd start there. If all fuses OK, then look at the sensor. Good Luck!

did u unplug your trailer lights from the truck when you backed it into the water?, if not that will cause a short. check the fues cause i bet thats what happened.

um...no i didn't unplug them, but i never have, and this is the first time that this has happened. but now that i think about it, this is also the farthest that i have backed into the water. so....i will check the fuses. are the antilock brackes on a fuse too?

Every once in a great while I will get my brakes wet when I am washing the under side of my explorer and I get the "abs light" too. I just let it sit for a while and let them dry out and it seems to go away. Also, I would definately unplug your lights when you back into the water. Even though the lights are "submerseable" they sometimes fill with water and can do a number to your elec. system. It only takes 10 seconds to unplug the harness.....
