I was looking to put aftermarket anit-sway bars on my 99 Sport but I have no idea what would be good to put on it. I don't need anything really hardcore just something to reduce the body roll around corners. Any one got any ideas?

Welcome to the site!

You already have a solid front sway bar on your 99. However, you might want to look into a beefier rear from www.explorerexpress.com

Also, new (better) bushings might help also. I have both front and rear bars from Saleen on my 96, but reused the stock bushings cause they were pristine. They made a huge difference. Unfortunately, Saleen doesn't carry them anymore, they were cheaper than EE.

Good luck!

Oh, have you looked into different shocks? I really like my Gabriel VSTs.

Explorer Express rear sway bar comes with a polyurethane bushing.:bounce:

I've got the Explorer Express bar.

It was a great investment. Body roll is greatly reduced. That combined witht he shocks and wider tires, my Explorer handles like a Ferrari. Well OK maybe not, but it would if Ferrari made an SUV! ;)

yah, im going with the explorer express rear anti sway bar in a few weeks too i think (i havent decided to get it or spend money on audio stuff.) it should match up nice with my shocks and tires.

Thanks

Thanks for the help, I didn't even know about explorer express, I got my explorer a couple of months ago, and I finally have a job now so I have money for upgrades.
