Specifically I'm looking for A/C hose routing. My 94 Ranger hoses don't nearly fit the Explorer engine layout. The compressor is at a different angle etc.
I found one shop in town that will build custom hoses but he mocks things up and then I have to wait till the next day because he goes off site to his warehouse at night, welds, crimps and what every else he does and then I have to drive out the next day so we can see how that fits. Kind of a PITA and it's taking forever and at $10 a weld and $5 a crimp + hose, fittings etc. it's going to cost around $80 ~ $100. I told him to wait while I see if an Explorer A/C hose will work better.
So anyhow, any 5.0 engine bay pics or links to them will be greatly appreciated. You can email them to me directly too if you want. malcolm@v8-ranger.com
