For desert Dixon Bros Racing makes a long travel kit but its $$$$.

my mistake...didn't look at the years of your truck scratch that previous comment

Thanks anyways. I know camburg racing is stating explorer kits coming soon... But not sure what years they will making kits for. I'll keep my fingers crossed i guess lol.

you should try contacting them and see if they need voulenteers to test their product haha.:D it maybe worth a shot? one of those 4x4 shops down there may be willing to do a custom build for you too. There's no problem throwing large amounts of $ at can't solve

from my personal and honest beliefs, do not do strut spacers. neither btf, truxx or roadbullys. no matter the maker there all the same. I had roadbullys 2 in front and 1.5 in the rear and when i was in the dunes the spindles killed my coil springs. every bump everything collided. Spacers are for street in my opinion. Please take this into consideration....

other idea you can do a body lift and 33's..... thats what i have done and it kicks butt in the dunes now!

yeah i know what you mean. im not looking for a spacer kit. i just cant believe there are not any kits that replace the stock spring/strut. i would imagine somebody has come up with a coilover w/shock that can be bolted in replace of the strut and adding a longer control arm or something to compensate the higher angle. but then again i dont know im just a newbie lol thats why im here and asked.

my shop is in Upland, you are free to swing by and check out the current project I'm working on if you want to. We could definitely do a coilover/upper arm combo, a longtravel setup that retains 4x4.
