I was just wondering if anyone had a set of the MTX radials. I have been looking at them and was trying to get some feedback. Any input would be great. If you have them, do you like them? If you've heard things about them, good or bad, let me know.

No experience with the MTX but I do have experience with the Baja Claws and I love em, from what I"ve heard the MTX are pretty good off-road and not terrible loud on-road. The Baja Belted HP are more of an all-terrain with side-biters to provide for some great off-road grip. Hope that helps.

whoops, meant to say "Baja Belted HP's" not "Baja Claws"... I'll let you know on the Baja Claws hopefully in a few weeks here...

Hey Matt,
What's the noise level like on you treads, and how much, if you don't mind me asking?

Ray - don't mind you asking at all Dead Link Removed. That's one of the reasons I like them actually, because for 99% of my driving (30 miles to and from work, plus driving out "on location" to do wheeling around the country) they are smooth and quiet, like you would expect an all-terrain to be. As soon as I took off the Cepek mud's and put on the Baja Belted HP's (Mickey THompsons) it was like going from driving on rocks to driving on glass. They don't have the annoying osund the mud's did but work equally off-road (from what I can tell anyways)

I have been running the MTX's (35") for close to 2 years. I like the tire (an aggressive A/T) but they don't appear to be wearing well. I think I'm only going to get 30-35K from them. Maybe the BFG A/T's spoiled me-45k.
