Looking for some ideas where to put a 4 channel amp for my door speakers. Also going to get a sub for under passenger side rear seat so that spot is out. Any room in the jack stowage area? Or under front seats maybe?

I am in the same condition. I plan on putting the sub the same place (under the pass side rear). I am going with the JVC powered 10" sub. My plan is under the passenger side front seat or under the driver side rear seat with the Amp. I have seen some guys on here that have other set ups, but I want to keep it simple. Good luck with your install!

Thanks for the info. I'm going to start looking into the situation a little more in-depth tomorrow.

Just put it in the storage area behind the back seats. Ive seen it there in some folks tracs mounted on the back wall. Unless it gets very hot, then you may need to figure out a way to get fresh air in there.

i put the sub under the rear passenger seat with the amp under the middle. If i were to do it again i would replace the entire plastic thing behind the seats. I have pictures of what i did if you want to see them. The issue i found is that if anyone sits on the seat they will compress the springs and sit on the sub so i had to put a piece of plywood under the seat on the seat frame. I also needed to biuld a small box where the sub is mounted in order to get the correct air volume for the 10" sub. it all fits but just barely

Just a thought. I have seen some of the "Low Profile" subs. I don't know how well they sound but they certainly save some space.

Here is an example

A good powered sub, a good head unit (receiver) with extra power and the stock speakers would make a decent sounding system without spending too much money and would be an easy install.

I have seen a place where u can get custom boxes for a 10in sub that fits under the back seat but just courious if you would still b able to put the rear seat down..havent got the truck yet...and if anyone knows how big the old factory sub is..

I have my 1,800w amp in the storage space in the right rear, and under the same seat i placed the thickest lo profile box i can find, andadded to the box an 1,200w IB Flat sub from pioneer. sound pritty good and extreem low end bass. planing on another sub undermy drivers side.

Here is my setup.. Hope it helps.
