I'm new to Ford and have owned imports and Pontiacs for the last 20 years. I really like the tech (Sync/MFT) and style Ford is putting out in their new autos. After reading some threads here and another Sync forum I'm beginning to have concerns about the wait time and more importantly the reliability of Sync/MFT. Problems seem to come from new Edge, Explorer and Lincoln owners that have screens blanking out, phones don't stay connected, clocks keep resetting and leaving their suv at the dealers for a week for fixes that the dealer isn't sure how to do. So naturally I'm on the fence about purchasing a new Explorer and staying with an import or GM.
Have many of you here have had problems, Sync/MFT or not? Was it quickly fixed? Does the problem keep coming back?
