2002 Explorer XLT
Hello to all! I'm new to the forum. Just picked up my new 2002 Explorer XLT V8 about 2 months ago! So far I love what they've done with it!

Question is if anyone knows of any bolt-ons that would be available for this truck!

Would any mustang (4.6) bolt-ons work on this series truck?

Hope someone can help!

Thanx to all in advance!!

mustang parts should work fine... just pay attention to intake manifolds and such... your truck will need torque more than hp....

pretty much all the same mods will work, chip, exhaust, headers, mass air, gears, TB, ported heads, cams, stroker motors. if you need any of this stuff i can hook you up just fine.

I have a 2002 Explorer Limited with the 4.6L V8...

So far I'v done a few things, check my sig.

I want to do some performance mods so I can get more go go power...

Well if you want more power and torque, I suggest looking into a screw/eaton type supercharger. Ford sells one for the 4.6 SOHC (what you have) and would greatly increase your low end torque.. my question is would your tranny hold the increased power..

Ford does not have a blower for his year heads and motor but they do have them for his year by other companies, like Saleen, roush, allen as well as vortech and paxton. you can also do a new intake manifold, mass air, pulleys, timing adjuster, cams, headers the works.
