any pics of 31 x 1050 on stock 15's

i am thinking of replacing my junk firestones with some 31's. i have the stock 15 inch rims on a 2000 4 dr. i really want bigger tires but i am concerned about the appearance of 31's either filling up my wheelwells or sticking out past the body. unfortunately, i am not planning on getting any lift (right away anyway).

i'd love to see some pics if anyone has them, with 31's on stock 15's, no body or suspension lift.

oh yeah, they wont stick out and will probably fit with no rubbing at all... if any trimming is needed it will be very minimal plastic trimming... the newer explorers have bigger wheel wells than do the early generation Xs

So i take it you had to do sum minor trimming with your 31's??

it only rubbed on the inner plastic so i just took out a utility knife and cut out the back of the plastic....

I have 31's on my Sport with no lift (link to pics in my signature). Had to do some trimming of the inside corners of the front bumper cover, but it was so minor you wouldn't notice it if I didn't point it out.
