? Any way to prevent belt slipping

OK today driving in the downtown area in MIAMI an went through lots of streets flooding like this

so im tired of my belt slipping its APIMA specially when turning... So i searched on here an didnt find anything on preventing the belt from slipping when going through water or mud, would a skid plate help :dunno:

...When's the last time you changed your belt tensioner and belt???
 






A new tensioner and belt might be the ticket. Has worked for me in the past.
 






x3 on the tensioner, you shouldn't be slipping wet.

Umm my belt was in ending of FEB. the tensioner dont remember :(.. so replacing my tensioner would solve my problem
