Any way to remove windshield wiper scratches from windshield?

Is there Scythian that can remove the glare I get at night caused by the small scratches caused by the windshield wipers over time? If I have to I'll replace the windshield. The glare drives me nuts. I was hoping for a cheaper solution first though.

i have no personal experience with it, but Eastwood Co. sells a kit for this purpose. It might be much easier to just replace the windshield.
