Anybidy running on a single Optima?

thanks for opinions guys..... sounds like a plan but only after the original factory one gives in..... for now I'll put one in my XJ and see what happens....... does it matter what alternator amperage you're running? I don't think it does though but am just curious..

:redexp: Got the Yellow-Top coupled with a 200 amp PowerMaster alternator. No power problems here. Optima had to supply a hold down clamp adapter to fit my 96'.
 






I have the yellow top. It works great. I bought a universal battery clamp (costs $2.00) to hold it down so it won't move around. The factory clamp didn't fit on the yellow top.
 






The stock Ford batteries seem to be pretty good in my opinion. I don't have a lot of stuff you guys got for 4x4 accessories, but i mean i've heard ford batteries lasting 7-10 yrs in cars/trucks. Are these batteries exceptions or are all of them like that?
