Those styles of wheels look GREAT on an Explorer!!

According to my quick calculations: 10"/2 = 5" Centerline..........5" - 1.81" (-46mm Offset) = 3.19" BackSpacing. Someone please double check me on this.

3.19" Backspacing with 15x10 rims will be sticking the wheels/tires WAY out there. Approprimately 4" out past stock 15x7 wheels, if my math is right again. Appropriate lift or trimming will be needed to accomdate them (if going with a normal sidewall tire).

well if i got those it would be with a 4 inch suspension lift and maybe a 2 inch body lift....with 33x12.5 inch tires...

XonDubs,
Two of my buddies have those wheels on X's. Well one has Eagle, and the other has the same style in the Mickey Thompson line, they will rock on your X!!!

Oh, check your local tire shops before you bid on those. That wheel is going from $100 to $118 each INSTALLED in my area (the cheaper price is with a set of tires). I noticed the eBay guy is hitting ya with $75 in shipping, I'll bet you could beat that locally. It's worth a shot anyway.

15x10 will rub fa sho.....stick with 15x8s, but those rims rule...a buddy at school has them on his lifted ranger with BFG muds 33x12.5 and they look kicass!

you cant run 33's on a 10" wheel with 6 inches of lift? really?

James, its not a matter of height, its a matter of the wheel sticking out past the fender, which translates to into the fender when turning. I'd stick with 15x8 too. It'll still look sweet, MT Classic IIs have a better reputation than Eagles.

it amazes me how few of you offroad guys on this board own sawzalls. :D J/K

thats not it though...can it be done, yes but you will have to do some major hacking if you dont want rub not to mention get the right offset.

see i want them to stick out....but i dont wanna kill my tires or truck while doing it lol....how many iches you guys say ide have to hack off for them not to rub?
and if i got the 15x8s it wouldnt rub? or it still will?

with 15x8 and the right offset and 4" sl and 2" bl, and 33x12.5 (non thornbird) they wont rub. if you get 15x10 or thronbirds or bigger than 33x12.5, you will rub.

Not the gratest pic but it could give you an idea, mine are the MY Classic with Ford center caps.

15x8's running 32-11.50's
