I was just looking on E-bay and there is a guy selling his Jet chip for a 5.0 as well I believe bidding is at 50 dollars right now with a 7 day money back guarantee if you dont like it. Might not be a bad deal price right now on them I believe is 221 dollars or so.

Jet is poopie for your car

Could you elaborate? I'm not doubting what you say. I have thought about either having a chip burnt or using a tuner on my truck to get more PoWa! and tighten up the shifting.

you are far better off getting a custom tune from a tuner. Chips are old school.
I am fond of Bama Chips ( I know, I know, chip is just in the name )

I know most of you don't like chips.. specifically jet chips but.....

Are they good for a generic sport tune? Better than stock?
I know they're not specifically tuned for mods you may have but.. they can't be That bad... I might get one before I start getting into bigger stuff, tmh n whatnot...

I don't think a jet chip would be bad with my mac intake and mac catback... for now..
right?

If there's another solution that's Better and Cheaper.. I'm all for it..

They actualy work pretty good in the stock to lightly moded side of stuff. Mine actualy gained me some milage and made a good deference in acceleration. But beyond air intakes, and cat back exhaust they arent gonna do what you want.

they're simply the cheapest and people see them on explorerexpress so they assume they're good. That would sum up why i bought mine right there lol. Price is the big factor thou, payin my own way through school, i don't have $500, $600 to drop on something like that

If you plan on going bigger in the future you might as well buy a tuner that you can keep with you through all of that, why buy one now, and then a year or 2 down the line have to buy another one. The way I see it if your going to do something do it right, and leave plenty of room for future growth.
