i was looking into replacing the stock head unit with a nav/stereo/ipod interface and wanted to see if anyone had done one already...would love to see some pics
thanks for the link. looks pretty simple. i've had the console apart and the radio out to do a fm antenna modulator input for my sirius sat/radi was curious about any recommendations for nav/head unit.
recommendations towards a headunit/audio system? id honestly have to say alpine, pioneer and jvc will never be beat... for subs my personal opinion is JL or MTX but i hate square speakers an will never buy another kicker product ever! and as far as door speakers/tweeters go polk audio, boston acustics, or again alpine... but for the alpine subs an door speakers go with the TYPE R's as far as a nav your better off jus buyin a garmin or tomtom for another $100 instead of paying $400 to $1300 on a headunit.. $400 being a crappy jensen unit or something!
I replaced the stock CD-6 in my Eddie Bauer with a Pioneer AVIC-X910BT, which I found for $500 on Amazon, and it works pretty nicely - though the PAC steering wheel control module is less than reliable at times.
