anyone here use 3156 50w...help!

ok, i got 3156 50w and it blew out my 15 amp fuse. i use 20 amp, it blew. can i go up and up until it stops blowing? i am afraid it will cause my wires to get fried. anyone else here that uses this have this problem? should i just call performance products and ask for a replacement?
i think that 15 amp also controls the rear defroster cause that one is out too.
any help is appreciated.

You really dont need two posts.
Just take out the bulbs and check the sockets for debris and replace the orig bulbs and see what happens. What ever happens may lead to finding out why they, the new bulbs, blow the fuse.
