I have the cam sitting here.. Just wondering if anyone else can share their experiences with the install and thier parts choices.

Are you putting a stock cam back in or upgrading to a perf. stick?

It's a fairly straightforward process with the OHV, same as doing any small block V8.

Is it a flat tappet or roller lifter? If it's flat tappet you will need to install new lifters anytime to install a new cam or you'll have problems.

its an aftermarket comp cams model that uses hydraulic roller lifters

I planned on the new pushrods. I *want* delta rockers but they dont seem to want my business... it would help to respond to emails. As for the springs, im thinkin about changing them if i can figure out which ones i need, my biggest issue is with lifters and wether or not to replace them and if i do which ones to buy

replace the lifters, the ford replacements are actually a couple bucks cheaper then most the aftermarket stuff... www.fordpartsnetwork.com

call delta-cams, i always got a hold of them right away.

How many miles are on the motor?

154k miles. im gonna call delta soon then and as for fpn, thier website hasnt been wanting to work for me lately
