hey everyone...so i pulled my center console apart to clean out the cupholders and such ...when i went to put it back together i found a wire with somekind of melted light or something along those lines...looks like it it can be unclipped and changed like a sensor ...meaning it has a male and female connection...any idea what this is and maybe its function...did a few searchs and came up with nothing...thxs for any info...cheers jeff

Could be the light that goes in the ash tray?

If your ex has the auxiliary 12V outlet in the passenger's side of the console, it might be for the "light ring" that goes around it?

cools thxs everyone...i think its the ashtray light...wasn't aware they had one...lol...it is too short to reach the aux lighter outlet so must be that...have to see about getting it fixed as it looks kinda melted...lol...cheers jeff
