Right, I'm seriously thinking about lifting my Explorer.. I've spoken to the guys on this link

and they've quoted me

£1400 + vat + £40 postage for a superlift suspension lift kit
£250 + vat + £10 postage for the PerformanceAccessories bodylift kit

Nope! Those prices are just for bending over and taking a deep breath.. installation is extra.. or free if you do it yourself.. which is what I'm planning to do..

So thats what £260 + vat which if I remember the last time I checked was 10% or is it higher now? Still regardless ouch thats a raping.

Yes... rip off/rape me britain.. it's not great when you think about it.. that's why it costs over $200 to fill up the Explorer over here..

im very intrested in lifting mine if we can get a better deal with a group buy but i want it high very very high

well, the most you can do is 7", which is 3" bodylift and 4" suspension lift, then whack on some 35" tyres and away you go.. with a ratio change of course..

you should try www.summitracing.com Thats where I got mine, and even with shipping and tax it was less than that.
