good fun had this morning !

We are expecting 8+ inches here tonight and my plan is to spend the day out hunting and hiking. So I am donning the chains just in case, but I have never had a problem in anything with my current tires (well except ice).

Should be a great time I am excited... Bring on the SNOW!!!

I have to haul the family around this weekend in mine. Last time it snowed I was driving my Blazer. Had to use 4wd to get off my friend's slightly inclined drive!

I remember when it snowed a couple of years back. I was the only one at college to make it so I did donuts in the empty car park in my 4wd Nissan. Good times.

So I have to ask... why do you like mice??

:D Gee . I haven't seen snow for years. Would love to play in some with my 2000 North Face Ex. Have fun you guys.

Wow man you're out there, I had to google your location ^^

Or from here I guess I should say down there.. Any good Surf?

tried to have fun in 2 inches of snow last year ended up radiator deep in tree. I'll be avoiding the snow fun this year.

Oh Yeah weather man just changed the forecast from 6 to 8 inches to 12 to 18 inches Bring it on, although this may require the chains. It's supposed to drift...

Yep.....surfs up Rusty.
Suns shining and 28 degrees C.
Have fun.

OK so here is what we ended up with. 19" and it was drifting in some spots. It snowed for almost 24 hours straight. I cleaned my driveway 2 times to keep up with it. I did find some time to go out hunting in the middle of the storm. One of the roads I take is on the way to a ski slope so of course a bunch of "Mr. BMW's" were all over the road. One of them hit a gaurd rail, and then another hit the back of him.

Tried to hunt as long as I could however the snow was up over my 16" high boots and aftre 2 mi of walking my legs were burning. So I decided to do something less strenous and went home to clear some more snow LOL....

I decided to take the back way home and avoid the rush of people trying to get to the slopes. (I must say it was a perfect skiing snow and if I did ski I would have done the same thing). Anyway on the way back I was driving through drifts that were going over my hood. I couldn't see a thing at one point when snow exploded in front of me. The truck did great, and I didn't even need the chains. My tires worked great. I even pulled out my neighbors e150 through the full 19" of snow.

I wish we had more snows like this. It's way too much fun.

Oh man you will need to send some pictures. Here in the east coast of US we only have 3 months of any type of surf (unless you want to wear the full dry suit) Most of the warm months we have little to no surf at all. Our only chance during the hurricane season is when Africa send us some storm loven!!

Other than that it's all waist high (or less) garbage with little to no break.

weve had plenty hear and the tyres i bought on sturday morning have been rather handy. roll on more snow!
