If it "fits behind the rear seat" like it claims, you're in for more work than you may have anticipated. Do you plan on removing the storage area behind your seats?

planned on it. I had wanted to do that since i lay my seats down quite a bit, so an under the seat box isn't an option.

I wasnt as concerned with the modification to the trim to make it fit, i was really just curious about the fit and finish and quality of the box. (says theyre all custom made to order)

Ok, well, I don't know anything about audio, so I blew my wad in that first post. Never really interested me. Maybe someone else will chime in. You may want to browse the audio threads.

Not that I wouldn't like to have a sub in my Trac, I just can't do it. I leave my seats down all the time and only put them up when I have passengers. The storage area is for my off road items, tools, spare shotgun shells, first aid kit, and whatever else has made its way back there.

I would like to see the finished result of this project, though.

No experience with that particular box, but I plan on doing the same thing when I get around to upgrading my audio system.

well so far i'm in $150 for the box (shipped) so i hope all goes well, but i'll document it for everyone!

Depending on the subs you choose to buy, you will need to stuff the box with poly fill to fool the speaker into thinking the box is larger. The box being only 1.00 cubic feet in volume to support 2 10" subs or even some 8" subs is a bit small...

Unless you listen to a lot of Hard Rock and Metal that has very quick and tight bass... But you will need to have a good amount of power on ther subs to make tham perform well...

I'm going to try out some Polk MMs. they only call for .35ft^3 each (ideal). So I may end up actually putting wood blocks in it to fill up air space (but i'm going to give the speakers a whirl first before i go doing silly things like that)
