Anyone with FLOWMASTER 70 SERIES please help

Hey guys. I am interested in getting a Flowmaster cat-back for my 98 X Sport and I am either going to get a 50 series or 70 series. I can find a ton of information on the 50 but virtually none on the 70 series. If anyone has it could you please tell me like how it would sound (loudness) with a single 2.25" pipe. Also are there any power gains on a V6 or is it basically just the sound. Another question, is Delta flow quieter than mufflers without delta flow? Thanks, any information about the flowmaster 70 would be awesome

Preston, I have the 70 series on my 98 (V8). You can expect a sound that is a little louder than stock, and one that does not annoy while cruising. Feel free to ask for more info...

I AGREE, YOU'LL NOTICE A SLIGHT SOUND INCREASE, BUT ITS NOT LOUD AT CRUSING SPEED EITHER. I CAN'T SAY THAT I NOTICED AN INCREDIBLE DIFFERENCE IN POWER. I JUST CUT OUT THE STOCK AND PUT THE "70" IN ITS PLACE. YOU HAVE TO DO SOME CREATIVE WELDING TO CONVERT THE 3" EXIT TO THE STOCK 2.25" TAIL PIPE. I HAVE LOTS OF OTHER MODS TOO, SO MY TRUCK ALREADY FELT QUICKER THAN STOCK. ITS ALSO MY UNDERSTANDING THE DELTA FLOW IN NOT AS "LOUD" OR HARSH AS A NON-DELTA FLOW.
