Anyone with pics of 2nd gen wheels on 3rd gen?, If so - post'em - they'll fit, right?

I've got 2nd gen wheels on my 04 xlt, the tires are 265 75 16.
they do give the x a wider stance.

Very nice my friend...

I know I did the opposite (putting gen3 on a gen2), and needed 1" spacers or they would rub on my upper control arms. So you would get at lease 1" wider stance going the opposite way.

Like the truck, and the name! Both are similar to mine.

here ya go... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2191157

My previous truck was a 2001 x sport... my current truck is an 2004 x xls, which has those ugly simplistic rims... I talked the dealer into swaping the tires and they worked great... looks improved a great deal... there is no rubbing... I did notice that the bottom of the calliper/break assambly looks to be really close to the inner part of the wheel/rim... I forgot to look in the original set of wheels so I don't know how close are they supposed to be in the 3rd gen's.

They stick out about an inch from the fender... I don't have any moldings or anything, which make a difference.

I have the same wheels on my 05 as rama1200. They are 16" with a +12 offset. My stock wheels were a +30 (I'm thinking). This moved the tires (245/75/16) out to the edge of the wheel wells. I think the 2 gen wheels on the 3rd gen is a perfect fit.
