Has anyone completed or experimented with making the rear windows roll all the way down? Thinking maybe there is a stop in the track or maybe it runs out of room idk. when i get home from afghanistan i will look and see if nobody else knows.

not saying your wrong but it has same angles as front door and still has plenty of room from the edges?

If I had to venture a guess, I would say they stop short due to the fact that they use the same hardware as the regular second gen 4-door Explorers, which are restricted by the shape of the doors, unlike the Sport Tracs which don't have the rear wheel arch cutting into the rear doors. Again, that is just a guess.

I always though they did that with rear windows as a safety feature so it was harder for little kids to climb out lol idk maybe that was just me haha
