AOD transmission help needed (EASY QUESTION)

I recently bought a '91 Mercury Grand Marquis (5.0L) to drive during the "salty" weather here in the Mid West. I do not want my Ranger to be exposed to this environment, and needed something else to drive. I looked in the owners manual to see what kind of transmission fluid it uses and the manual stated to look on the transmission dipstick. Well, it does not say what kind on the dipstick. What type does it use??? Thanks.
