AOD Transmission problems on my A$$tick

i have a 85LX 5.0 Aztec w/ an AOD trans, and it feels like there's a problem:

from a cold start it feels ok and runs through the shift points, as it warms up it feels like it's soft/lazy shifting down when giving it gas, after about 30min of freeway driving it gets really(i think) harsh,
ie: let off the gas and you can feel the trans disengage, give it gas and you can feel a lag then a kinda harsh lock up(like it's taking up slack)

the fluid doesn't seem burnt, and actually appears to be overfilled abit

any ideas???

Sounds like your torque converter is getting ready to croak.....

yeah i'm gettin that diagnosis from some others as well, however i'm thinking it might also be a mount (trans/motor) the more i drive it the more it kinda feels like it

i did find an AOD complete w/ cooler/lines/3400 stall converter all for $200 so i'm probably gonna get it just in case
