Arrg! where to get a valance?

Hey everyone. So I see RockAuto mentioned as an online parts distributer so i look em up. turns out they have the valance i need for $20 so i decide to quit putting it off and just get it from them. i go to check out and shipping is $40! how can shipping be twice what the actual item costs? anybody have any better ideas on where to get one? thanks for any help you can offer...

It's a large item, so it'll probably cost more. Have you tried a salvage yard?

havent been to any salvage yards about it but i have heard that they would probably want me to buy a whole bumper

Last time I was at a salvage yard, they gave me some rear speaker screens for free. It's definately worth a shot. Try car-parts.com, I think that is what I used to find parts at a salvage yard near me.

my buddy has one je just took off. He broke the front 2 tabs though wheeling. Im sure you would rig it up to work fine. he would sell it for shipping costs from 22407 and 5$ of gas to get to the ups place

hey i looked ups shipping up and its like $8.85 for the cheapest one assuming a 5 pound, 50x8x8 inch package. that would be sweet. keep me posted!
