I need a low-cost receiver hitch for very light duty on a '93 Explorer four-door 2WD. I'm talking bike rack-type loads.

I'm aware of U-Haul. Are there any cheap online sources? New or used, I'm not particular.

Check Ebay, I got my Reese for $65 shipped

I got my Reese at Pepboys if you're not into the internet shopping and want the instant gratification of having the hitch right then. I'm pretty sure it was around 90 bucks or so.

You can always use a box hitch that bolts to the bottom of your factory bumper. I am using one for a bumper I'm building now. It cost me under $40 and got it from a local parts store. (autozone- advanced auto parts ---I don't remember) Check my gallery for some pics of what I mean ( Rear Bumper Project)

JCwhitney has the Hidden Hitch brand which look pretty decent,

plan on getting one someday whenever i may need it

He probably needs the Square receiver to accept the bike rack and other standard accessories.

Just saw one at Walmart in the clearence section for $30.00.

Check out this Hitch Thread. I picked up a round style hitch which I think looks much better than a straight box type hitch.. When Not offroading I plug in a 4th receiver brake light.

Wow! Didn't know there was such a thing. I'll go looking. Thanks!
