On my '97 there was not a "Smokers Package" according to my '97 brocure and my '97 Explorer that I ordered from Ford. It came standard with the little cup with the lid that has the cigarette label on it. I didn't pay extra for it nor did I ask for it but it still came with my Explorer. The cup fits in one of the cup holders and has a hinged lid to contain the ashes. To use it you give up a cup holder. My garage door opener fits in the overhead console compartment labeled "garage".

Mine came with 3 built-in garage door openers in the visor. I lost one of the "inserts" for one of the cup holders and Ford could only get the incorrect one, the 2 are slightly different sizes.

MY 01 Sport Trac came with an ashtray. It pulls out from the center under the air controls.
