(At least) partial fix for SLOW Sync/MFT

I apologize if this has already been discussed or if this does not solve your particular problems, but I did get this idea from someone on this forum who asked "How many contacts do you have on your iPhone?"

I figured I knew why they asked, and went onto Sync/MFT in the vehicle:

Phone>>Settings>>Manage Phonebook and Contacts

...and set the "Auto Phone Book Download" to OFF

Voila. Next time I got in the car, the problems with initial unresponsiveness, and slow start up were resolved.:salute:

Yup - certainly will help. If you have a lot of contacts, Sync has to check for changes everytime you start up the vehicle. Bluetooth is not very fast for doing things like file transfer so it takes awhile.
