Adam, you're not too late as far as I'm concerned.

I've got two daughters that are sick right now, I think there is something going around, it would be a darn shame if you ended up being sick that weekend and not physically capable of working. If you ask DR. Riffman I believe he would tell you there is something theraputic about fourwheeling and you would most likely be in great shape and ready to return to a full work schedule by the time the weekend was over.

Say ahhhhhh..... :o

hmmmmm.....interesting......

well i'd say that you have come down with somthing. and our friend kampy is 100% acurate. when one offroads, a chemical, known as mud-a-gen, fills the bloodstream. the feeling that comes from this chemical is very similar to adrenalin. (for a doctor ;) im a horrible speller....hehehe...)

the theraputic purposes for this drug are overwhelming. it will cure any getting-off-of-work sickness in the short span of a weekend.

take 2 shots of whiskey and call me in the morning....(or just show up....hehehe)

I think I have that strain of the flu as well, I believe the experts at Johns-Hopkins are calling it FourByFlu, as evidenced by strong need to go four by fouring, which, in fact, is the only way to gain relief fron the disease. Doctors and scientists have said, and I quote, "That this disease is spreding all over the world like wildfire, it has gotten much worse in the past two or three decades. Now with the Explorer out on the road, we are finding that people of all ages, races, sexes, etc. are catching this disease. So far the only way to relieve the symptons is to go wheelin'" Doctors are working on finding a possible cure, but it seems the only way to cure fourbyflu is with an injection of the equally potent drag strip flu, which causes victims to drive extremely fast.

I actually have both flus and will hopefully be relieving the symptoms of both in two weeks when I get to drive at a highrate of speed to get to attica then four wheelin' at Attica.

If anyone still needs directions to Attica let me know. Again all of the details for the trip (maps, directions, contacts, etc.) can be found at my website. Dead Link Removed

Unfortunatly this virus is worse than it seemed at first. I am going to have to work. What I am going to try and do is come out maybe late or some time during the weekend if I have time. Thanks anyway for the help. By the way, there was talk about putting on front tow hooks. Where are they put on and where shoud I get some for my explorer? Talk to everyone later....

Riff, I called and made reservations for a couple of tent spots for the 24th. It's first come first serve as far as where you set up in the tent area. $7.00 per adult per night. The place is a full service campground. There is a pool. I'll bring some wood for a fire. I'll try to get there sat morning before the run to mark us out a spot. Just thought I'd let you know.

You gonna bring your new girly friend? I just love giving new people a hard time.

Is anyone else planning on camping? It's time to finalize the plans.

If it's raining like it has been the last couple of days I'll be heading for the motel.

hahaha...i knew it was a mistake posting that one.....

Wuss.........

Hahaha....a little rain never hurt anyone!!!! When i was in Wisconsin, "kamping" it got down to 36 one night, but i toughed it out!!!! hahaha...just playin

Well guys,

We get to "Attack" Attica next weekend. This weekend I am in Virginia and the power supply on my computer at home died last night so I won't have a computer until Sunday night.

I will be bringing a tent and a sleeping bag for the weekend and if it is not raining I will be camping. If it decided to rain on us then I will be driving the 35 miles to the motel. I will be arriving on Friday night, so if anyone else is let me know so we can have campsites near eachother.

Will anyone be cooking at the campsite or is everyone planning on going the easy route with restaurants and fast food? I want to know if I should bring the stove and propane tank.

I will be gone on Thursday night, I am starting the drive to VA and should be able to check mail and posts on SUnday night after I install the new power supply.

Dave

ya know....i actually enjoy cooking over a campfire. if we wanted to plan somthing, then maybe we could all get together and have a big breakfast out there on sunday. if everyone is interested, let me know, and i'll start planning some stuff.

I just wanted to know whether or not to get a big cooler and fill it with food and get the camp stove and all of the camping gear or just a tent, cot, sleeping bag, etc.

Let me know b/c it has been about 6 years since I have been camping and I think I might enjoy doing it for a weekend.

I even have one of those mini propane tanks with a stick with a lantern on the top and "outlets" for the camp stove...(from when I was in the Boy Scouts). I am liking the idea of camping more and more...BTW I hope my dog won't mind it..

hehe

Camping?

Camping? I don't know. I would but my better half is not a camping type of girl. My two kids would probably like it as well as my dog. Well, I got my room over at Ramada already reserved and it even comes with free breakfast. Eating breakfast Sunday morning might be a different story though. I plan on arriving Friday then we go "wheeling" Saturday and some time on Sunday I head home so Sunday "brunch" sounds good. Should I bring something with me then? sausage over fire sounds good. Ha???

Le me kno....

:D

Ok, it looks like I too will be going the motel route. Andre, where is the Ramada that you got your room at? Is it in Attica, or is it far away? I think I might enjoy breakfast with you on Saturday and Sunday. Sorry to get your hopes up about the camping, but I was not able to get my gear. (3000 miles in 3 days drained me too much to dig it up at home.)

Let me know which Ramada ASAP Andre so I can get a room at the same place.

Dave

Weather

Motel

It's RAMADA in Lafayette. Number 765-447-9460. I checked and my reservations are still up. That was the closest I could get to Attica. Looks like we'll have to get up pretty early in the morning on Saturday. Heck! I don't care.

See you there.
I'll try calling you too.

:D

I think it's time for everbody to check in. Post a note so we know who all's planning on showing. Last count I think there were seven if I remember right. Remember, the meeting place is on Daves' web page.

I'll be there!

ME TOO!!!!!!!!

...that is as long as someone wakes me up at the meeting place....hehehe

Okay! Just got back form the week long vacation from hell! It was a train wreck from start to finish. I can't wait to get out on the trails to relax. Anyway, I'm still in. Nothing short of a natural disaster will keep me from Attica. I want to the store to pick up some items for the trip. Fire extinguisher, tow strap, tire repair kit, tire pump, radiator leak repair, etc….

Oh ya, while in Florida visiting my mother-in-law, I overheard her complaining about the high cost of gas. They have to pay a whopping $1.65 per gallon! I was quick to point out that we are paying 70 cents a gallon more! You know what they say, somebody always has it worse and they live in Illinois!!!!!!!!!!!

See you all Saturday morning.

Ummmmmm.........

Ok....I guesss I will go :) Actually....I can't wait. I need to pick up a few suppplies this week, but you know am gonna show. Cam..sorry to hear about your trip from hell, but again wheelin' is the cure for the common tripus hellus, which can include a nasty case of inlawus complainus. You should be cured by the end of the weekend. If not another trip will need to be planned in the very very near future so that another dose of "medication" may be given. :D

next run?

Sounds like we love this run so much that we should be working on the next one already. I just can't wait to get dirty. Hopefully my problems with my rig will be taken care of by Friday. I should be arriving in Lafayette Friday evening as some guy just called for an appointment at 2:00PM Friday and I do have to make it. I hope it doeasn't take too long.

Just because of my work I need to get away.

Hey ho, hey ho.....

:D
