Hey guyz just wanted to let u in on a little thing i just learned today. My IAC has been acting up for a long time and i decided to go get a new one. Well, I picked on up that i thought went to mine, which it wasn't the right one. The AC117, thats the product code most companys use, isn't the right one for the SOHC. It may work but the cover won't fit on and the connector won't fit either. The right one is the ACDelco Part # 217-1455. Thats the correct one. Thank you...

Tip: Always take the part to the autoparts store first even if u have the most confidence in them...lol...i've learned this and normaly i take the part with me but the only problem in this case was i was driving the x while getting the part. :D My mistake...Thanks again for reading....!!!

I just rplaced mine yesterday and the only problem I had was the connector that you plug the wire into was possitioned different and was too close to the throttle cable housing. I had to take it back off plug it in then tighten it down.

well ur the lucky one then, because i went down to the auto parts store again with the right information and we tried to figure out where the right one is and what the part number of it is. The only right part numbers are the acdelco and my OEM number. So i'm still hunting down the part, i might go over to ford to get the motorcraft part number. If anyone has any info on this please let me know...thank you...

anyone know what the right product number is for the IAC Valve, i think i might stop down at ford and see if they have the right one.
