Attica Run April, 20-22

dude!! your in lacrosse?! Me and Rfr2212 just passed through there twice on saturday! We were headed into Minnesota to pick up and engine and tranny. You got a really cool area that you live in!!

The Badlands has a site ( www.badlandsoffroad.com ) but its pretty weak too. there are no vehicle requirements there as of lift, or tires or any of that. There is a limitation to the wheelbase of vehicles, as in you have to be 107 or less to use the regular trails. But the XLT is 111" and the Ranger Supercab is like 125" and they let us go everywhere. Its just kind of a common sense requirement. For instance, you wouldn't want to take a stock explorer through the expert only section of the quarry. you can take a stock one on the green (so says the badlands people) but you will deffinately scrape and get high centered on some of the "Jeep Traps". Come on!! It will be fun!

My new family

This is like my third week on this board and I seem to have met so many cool dudes that know my area... It's touching! Anyway I'll cut the cr*p, if you guys think LaCrosse is cool I think you are cool. I'm in but don't forget to take my two buddies vehicle's off the calvary I guess "it's not a J##p thing, you wouldn't understand" I'm pumped up as long as I can meet up with you guys in north Ill on Thurs night. Oh yeah, some mechanic dude straightpiped my ride for the small price of $20 this weekend because we were curious what differences in hp and sound I would get before ordering a $400 Borla kit. It's LOUD so I hope nobody will be offended or maybe I can stuff it full of steel wool before I hit the Illinois border.

That is my lovely town LaCrosse, We sure do have some pretty hills and bluffs. You clowns should make your way into this town. I tend bar at a place located on top of Grandad's bluff call Alpine Inn. It's a super curvy road about 2 miles up with some stiff drinks when I'm working. Such a feeling of satisfaction to drive home at 3:00 am and see fresh tire tracks into the guardrail. It's a little known fact that if the big white Explorer is outside the tavern Dano will pull you out of the ditch... the kicker is I tell ya it's $20 or I'd be more than happy to call a tow truck on the cell phone!

The taxman came

I just finished my tax return. I was anticipating a $500 refund. I got the amount right but it went the other way. I am now $1,000 poorer than I thought I was yesterday. This will blow me out of being able to make the trip next month.

I'll still be making the SWFWDA run May 4th, the Moab run May 16th, hit Ouray again after Moab, and the Clayton Memorial Day run. Four major runs in four different states in one month is still a great start for the summer. I just can't swing adding another 2,000 mile round trip to a fifth state into the mix for yet another run during the same time frame.

Enjoy yourselves, and I'll still be seeing some of you in Moab a few weeks later!

Rick, Im just wondering if you heard anything back about that 97-01 kit. I have a 97 and I called superlift and they said they weren't making anything for the 97 only 98 and up. Ive called EVERYONE. Just wondering if you got anything back on that.
