Why do they only say 00-02, is there that big a difference?

I did not see any listed for the 02 XLS/XLT V-6.:(

.....

Supposdly Because the EGRs are on the other side for the other years can anyone verify that the 97-99 Explorers had the egr on Which sidE?

where is the listing?

could not find listing for 99 sport SOHC

On my '97 SOHC, my EGR valve is on my driver's side exhaust manifold.

Well, I'm happy for all you SOHC owners!

But,
Installing headers on your SOHC may noticable reduce torque for the gain of a little highway passing power. Many think the SOHC already lacks a little on the low end, and headers will only magnify this. So basically, slower from the light, a bit faster in the left lane.

Good luck to anyone getting them though.

It's ok i Can Deal with a little torque loss for top end power

These wont work for us then , damn the egr is on the passenger side oh well ill wait till NOVember

I have enough torque in my SOHC...oh wait I have 4.10s in the back and stock tires :D The SOHC is a pretty torque-less engine though for the size of the vehicle. It loves to rev though ;)
