Last year i installed two subs and an Amp, every thing was going fine till about a month ago! Seems as though the amp isnt getting enough power? The subs are only hitting about 1/4 of what they should be.

Im no expert, but have checked all connections and such! But im stumped now...

Where and whould should i be looking at?

Thanks

BTW, two 12" Rockford Fosgate HX2 and one RF 800.2

Have you checked the RCAs on the back of the HU? maybe on of those wiggled its way loose. The only other thing that I could think of would be that either you have a blown sub or your amp is malfunctioning.

Are they dual voice coil subs that you have wired in parallel? If so, one of the wires connecting a voice coil to another coil or power wire may have come loose from the sub, which will raise the impedance (lower amp output) or only get power to one or fewer voice coils (lower sub output).

Yup, there dual's!

Im just gonna disconnect every thing and reconnect. I hope nothing is wrong with that amp or subs. There not ever 8 months old!!

Yes, both subs play! However they are only hitting at 1/4 of the way!

Im gonna run the amp up to a local place today and have them test the amp.
