Auto 4x4

Is there anyway i can temperaloly get rid of the AUTO 4x4? I dont want to completly get rid of it though.

Look for a thread about brown wire mod, I skimmed across it a few days ago, but I am unsure of it because I believe some of the autos were assisted with a centrifugal lock clutch. not strictly electric. mabee just certain years but try to find that thread it may lend more info than I have. good luck

Brown wire mod works on all 4x4's. AWD's are mechanical and thus no brown wire mod.
