I am 90% sure that my autohubs are blown. The problem is that they keep trying to engage that axle when driving in 2x4 and also make some chatter when the wheel is hard over to either side. I was wondering what effect, besides no four wheel drive, taking the plastic cams out of the hub would have on driving the vehicle until I can get new manuals or have time to rebuild the auto's? I would think that it would not affect the vehicle except to remove the four wheel drive option, but I am not sure and don't want to risk breaking it anymore than it already is.
