Did a quick search, but didn't find exactly what I was needing.

I have recently purchased some new hubs for my 1999 Explorer 5.0 AWD AT, and I am planning to swap both out this weekend, but have a couple quick questions.

1) What parts will I need to complete this job correctly? I have 2 new front hubs and 2 new hub nuts. Are there any seals or any other parts I may need to complete this job?

2) What tools will I need to complete this job? Hub Puller?

If anyone has any directions on how to complete the job and what tools/parts are required, that would be great.

Thanks again!!!

Replacing Auto Hubs?

Anyone?

All I need to know is if I have all the parts needed to replace the hubs, and what tools will be required.

I have the hub assemblies & hub nuts, but are there any other parts like racers or seals needed?

I have all the basic tools needed, except a hub puller which I could always rent from a local parts store.

Specifics would be nice, but if this sounds right, please let me know! Thanks again for your support!

What exactly are you trying to do? From what little I know about 2nd gen and AWD, you don't have any kind of locking/freewheeling hub assembly. the AWD is always on and always sending power to the front, there's no need/provision for a freewheeling hub on your truck.
If you are talking about the wheel bearing assembly (seems to sometimes be called a hub) then someone else needs to chime in, because I don't know anything about doing wheel bearings on 2nd gen: other than they are a sealed assembly and can't be greased.
Good luck.
