Anyone out there have an estimating book with the industry stardard for Ford repairs? In particular, i'm looking for the amount of time it'd take a technician to replace a fuel pump & sending unit on a 1996 4.0L, 4-door.
I don't know if i'm being taken for a ride by my mechanic, but i'm also not trying to get messy with this particular repair myself. I've seen many posts here stating that even the "not-so-handy" at-home mechanics should be able to do this in 3-4 hours. It shouldn't take an ASE certified tech THAT long, should it??? Thanks for the help!
