auto tranny

Hey everyone
I have a 91 explorer sport with an automatic tranny. In the mornings when I shift into reverse to back out of the driveway, it usually takes the transmission between 10-15 seconds to shift into gear. Once it is warm it shifts right away. It is only into reverse as well. The fluid is full. Any ideas what the problem could be. It has 159,000 miles on it.
