Thank you!I just checked my ST and I only found the option to turn the Autounlock on or off. Nothing for the Autolock. So unless I'm missing something it looks like it can't be changed. You might post the question in the Forscan Discussion. 2020 FORSCAN Discussion
Understood. Being that it is probably considered a 'Safety' feature, there is nothing in the Manual that shows how to disable "AUTOLOCK" in any of the settings.Yes I agree and I have read the manual BUT what I am looking for is to disable the AUTOLOCKS! Hi, even after reading the user manual (general information as mentioned) I could not manage to find where to auto lock or Auto Unlock the doors while driving. Someone could advise how to do it please?Autolock
Autolock locks all the doors when
Autolock repeats when
- All doors close.
- The ignition is on.
- You shift into any gear putting your vehicle in motion.
- Your vehicle reaches a speed greater than 12 mph (20 km/h)
Autounlock
- You open then close any door while the ignition is on and your vehicle speed is 9 mph (15 km/h) or lower.
- Your vehicle reaches a speed greater than 12 mph (20 km/h).
Autounlock unlocks all the doors when
Note: The doors do not autounlock if you electronically lock your vehicle after you switch the ignition off and before you open the driver door.
- You stop your vehicle, place the gear selector in park, and switch the ignition off or to accessory position.
- You open the driver door within 10 minutes of switching the ignition off or to accessory position.
Enabling or Disabling Autounlock
You can enable or disable the autounlock feature in the information display or an authorized dealer can do it for you. See General Information.
Hi Peter, thanks for your reply. May be my question was not clear enough. In fact when starting to drive doors remain unlocked. So I’m trying to find the option to set auto lock to ON…sorry for this trivial questionI don't know if you can unlock the doors while driving. I haven't tried it, nor do I want to, on my Aviator. I believe the only way to unlock the doors on the 2017 Platinum I had was to put the vehicle in Park. The doors automatically lock (Autolock) once you reach 20 km/h.
As for Autounlock the following is from the Owner's Manual;
Auto unlock unlocks all the doors when
• You stop your vehicle, place the gear
selector in park, and switch the ignition
off or to accessory position.
In other words, the Autounlock will not work while you are driving.

In checking the Owner's Manual, I don't see an option to enable or disable 'Autolocks'. It does say Autolock (if equipped). I would find it hard to believe that the Limited hybrid doesn't have the Autolock feature. Check and see if there Is a setting for 'Locks', perhaps under the 'General' tab.
I don't know if this might help.

I think the directions here are different than the video. How to enable or disable Ford AutolocksI would be also surprised as such feature is like a standard for me…I have already tried to enter the programming mode like said in the video but no success…I will try again just in case otherwise I will visit my favorite Ford dealer![]()
