Automatic door locks thoughts....

This is just one of those thoughts that I was thinking the other day and was wondering if anyone else had ever thought this.

Does anyone ever feel like a psycho path when they have a passenger in their X, shift it into drive, and all the doors lock? I had my girlfriend in my X the other day, and when we started to drive, the doors locked and she gave me this look. It was funny. I felt like this killer who was trying to keep her from running away.

Anyways...just a thought...this might be awkward on a first date.

i used to get scared by it, but now working as a mechanic i have noticed that almost all (about 90%) of vehciles that come in now have factory alarms that do lock themselves when you drive it... so to me i rarely notice it anymore.... i just hate the ones that dont unlock when the car stops and you take out the key, then i have to find the override switch to get out

my wife (girlfriend when i got the X) loves the auto lock. she has an older car so this stuff was all new relative to hers.
i did turn it off somehow. she keeps pestering me to turn it back on. gotta figure out how now..

I don't have them in my car, but when I go with people who do I don't like them. If you don't need them it is just one of those annoying things that you ask yourself WHY???
