my 94 e.b. locks the doors when you turn the ignition switch to on or acc. and unlocks them when you turn the key to off. is this factory or some kind of after market setup? im still trying to find the module for remote entry. i tried turning the key on and off 5 times to program a remote but im not having any luck!!! i also tried the same procedure on my 96 bronco e.b. ,which does have the remote entry and nothing happens. also on my bronco the doors do not lock when you turn the ignition on. the owners manual does not say anything about the doors automaticly locking on eithier car.

Sounds like an aftermarket system. Aftermarket keyless entry in my old Acura did exactly the same thing.

my aftermarket alarm does that...before it wigged out and i removed it... now i have power lock from the pass side and no driver power anything on the driver side other than windows

Most aftermarket keyless entry/alarm/remote start systems have a little antenna that is mounted either on the dash by the windshield (look in those hard to see corners) or somewhere on the windshield. Also, look under the dash above the pedals and check to see if there are any wires that dont look like they are factory. If there is an aftermarket system the module is most likely going to be mounted up in there somewhere. Check the firewall for a power wire and other wires that they might have put through. If there is one then it kinda sucks that they didnt give you the remote when you bought it. :(
