Automatic transmission is shuddering @ 40-55 MPH.

Replacing fluid & filter. It feels like a vaccum probhlem - some material shows a modulator - but not on this one.

ANy info is great.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread to the transmission section. Your transmission doesn't use a modulator. Did you use the correct fluid?

No, after checking out the bottles draining in my recycle drum, my wife put in F type instead of MERCON.

Have since drained and replaced all (filter and fluid) I will probable have to replace the fluid after flushin same.

Bummed.
